Jakarta, January 31, 2026 - RS Premier Jatinegara (RSPJ) has officially launched an Internal Medicine Subspecialty in Allergy & Clinical Immunology to strengthen healthcare services for adult patients experiencing allergic conditions and immune system disorders. This service is designed to support individuals with recurrent allergies, suspected autoimmune-related conditions, and low immune function or immunodeficiency, enabling more targeted evaluation and appropriate treatment planning.

The service is provided by dr. Syahrizal, Sp.PD, Subsp.AI (K), an Internal Medicine Specialist and Consultant in Allergy & Clinical Immunology. He completed his medical degree at Universitas Yarsi, his Internal Medicine specialization at Universitas Gadjah Mada, and his Clinical Allergy & Immunology subspecialty training at Universitas Indonesia.

“Allergic conditions and immune system disorders often appear simple, yet they may recur, persist, or mimic other medical conditions. Through this subspecialty service, patients can receive more comprehensive assessments from identifying triggers and evaluating immune function to developing strategies for long-term control and relapse prevention,” RSPJ stated.

In general, consultation with an Allergy & Clinical Immunology subspecialist may be considered for patients experiencing frequent recurrent allergies (such as food, drug, or environmental allergies), symptoms suggestive of autoimmune conditions, or recurrent infections with prolonged recovery. In emergency situations such as severe shortness of breath or serious allergic reactions, patients are advised to seek immediate care at the Emergency Department.

Dr. Syahrizal’s practice schedule at RSPJ is Monday & Friday from 2:00–5:00 PM and Wednesday from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM (WIB).
