Learning to Be a Little Doctor at RS Premier Jatinegara
Jakarta, June 28, 2026 – As part of its commitment to improving community health literacy, RS Premier Jatinegara organized "Let's Be a Little Doctor," an educational program that introduced children to the world of healthcare through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. The initiative aimed to encourage healthy habits while helping children become familiar with the hospital environment from an early age.
The program began with a Meet & Greet with Doctor session led by dr. Anton Dharma, Sp.A, AIFO-K, where children learned about healthy living and personal hygiene through fun and interactive discussions. Participants also practiced the six steps of proper handwashing, one of the simplest yet most effective ways to help prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
During the Hospital Tour, children visited several medical facilities and supporting diagnostic services, including the hospital's 3 Tesla MRI and 512-Slice CT Scan units. The experience introduced participants to advanced medical technology and helped them understand how modern healthcare supports accurate diagnosis and quality patient care.
The learning experience continued with an Ambulance Tour, where children explored an ambulance and learned about its role in emergency medical services. They were introduced to several medical devices used during emergency situations while gaining a better understanding of the importance of rapid response and teamwork in patient care.
Through "Let's Be a Little Doctor," RS Premier Jatinegara hopes children will develop healthier habits, become more confident when visiting healthcare facilities, and build positive perceptions of healthcare professionals. The program reflects the hospital's ongoing commitment to strengthening health literacy through meaningful educational experiences that inspire healthier future generations.
