RSPJ, Koramil 01 Strengthen Emergency Readiness

RS Premier Jatinegara, in collaboration with Koramil 01/Jatinegara under Kodim 0505/East Jakarta (Kodam Jaya), conducted an ambulance response simulation and emergency preparedness education program to strengthen emergency response readiness, improve ambulance response times, and enhance coordination in handling medical emergencies within the community.

Jakarta, July 2026 – The initiative reflects the shared commitment of RS Premier Jatinegara and Koramil 01/Jatinegara to improving emergency medical response through stronger collaboration between healthcare providers and local territorial authorities.

Supported by its Emergency Medical Service (EMS), Stroke Center, Trauma Center, and Centers of Excellence in Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, RS Premier Jatinegara continues to strengthen its emergency care system to ensure patients receive timely, coordinated, and high-quality medical treatment.

The simulation was designed to evaluate the readiness and response time of RS Premier Jatinegara's ambulance service through its 1-500-907 emergency hotline. Various emergency scenarios were simulated, including stroke, heart attack, traffic accidents, and traumatic injuries requiring immediate medical intervention.

The program also served to reinforce coordination between healthcare professionals and personnel from Koramil 01/Jatinegara, who play an important role as first responders within the community. Through this collaboration, both institutions aim to improve communication, accelerate emergency response, and ensure patients receive prompt access to appropriate medical care.

Beyond evaluating ambulance response performance, the activity supports the development of a more integrated emergency response system between healthcare institutions and local authorities. This collaboration is expected to enhance preparedness for emergency situations while contributing to improved patient safety and public health outcomes.
