RS Premier Jatinegara x GAIA Parenting Pregnancy Education

Jakarta, February 7, 2026 - In an effort to enhance maternal and child health literacy, RS Premier Jatinegara presents an educational program titled “Sinergi Sehat untuk Calon Ibu Hebat” (Healthy Synergy for Future Super Moms). This event serves as an educational platform for expectant mothers and couples to understand the importance of early pregnancy planning.

The event, organized in collaboration with GAIA Parenting, featured Dr. Better Versi Paniroi, Sp.OG, Subsp.KFM, a Specialist Obstetrician and Fetomaternal Consultant at RS Premier Jatinegara, as the main speaker.

During the session, Dr. Better explained that a child's future health is highly influenced by the mother's condition before and during pregnancy. According to him, many prospective parents are unaware that a child's development begins even before birth.

“Pregnancy planning is not just about getting pregnant, but about preparing the mother's health so that the fetus can develop optimally. What happens during pregnancy will have long-term effects on the child's health,” explained Dr. Better.

Education on Myths and Facts About Pregnancy and Newborn Care

Through Jatty Insight, participants were invited to understand various myths and facts about pregnancy and newborn care. Dr. Better emphasized the importance of balanced nutrition, anemia prevention, and managing the mother's weight during pregnancy.

He also explained that conditions such as anemia, obesity, and certain nutrient deficiencies could increase the risk of babies being born with low birth weight, organ development issues, and future metabolic diseases.

“Birth weight is an important indicator of a child’s health. With proper nutrition and monitoring, these risks can be minimized,” he added.

Not only did the event offer educational sessions, but participants also had the opportunity to consult directly with specialist doctors and engage in baby care practice training. This activity aims to equip expectant mothers with practical knowledge for preparing for pregnancy and the early stages of childbirth.
